Double Trouble
Last week I saw Smalltime Crooks with my boyfriend, as reported. Elaine May plays "Aunt May" whom Woody Allen has a brief affair with. (It's his wife's aunt, not his. That would be incest!)

Ok, so I'm watching The Human Stain and Anthony Hopkins' character's wife looks and sounds exactly like Elaine May. But I look it up on IMDB and it's Phyllis Newman. Whoever the heck she is. But I'm telling you, I thought they were sisters, cause they look and sound exactly alike.

It was pretty good. There were a few problems that made it easy to see why the masses might not rush out to see it. I thought it was very well made and acted though. Nicole Kidman's voice was a little too husky throughout the whole movie. Anthony Hopkins really acted the part out well.

I'd give a 7/10. There were issues like race and class that were brought up and it was very interesting. Nicole and Anthony's characters were seemingly different, but they turned out to be quite similar and it was unveiled why they were drawn together.

Not the best movie, but definitely not a disappointment. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was.
